Friday Night Ferblungen

There are a couple things I have found lately while I was putting off doing schoolwork that have really struck my fancy.

The first . . .

This picture
Not only is this a badger, but he is a studious badger (note the messenger bag and the book).  This photo makes me want to learn how to knit just so that I can make little badgers with different personas.  I mean . . . THINK ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES!

hipster badger

goth badger

greek badger (not the country)

gangsta badger

celebrity badger

international badger

teacher badger

The list really could go on and on.

The second . . .

It is full of crafts that you can do with materials you find at the dollar store! I plan on going to the Dollar Tree sometime this weekend to pick up some supplies for some of the crafts I found.  Here are a few that I realllly liked:

Now, of course I found lots of other things, but I think these will be my first three projects.  I'm still working on collecting toilet paper rolls for this wall art I found, but don't you worry . . . I will post a picture as soon as it is finished.

And finally . . .

I just think this is adorable and I know my mom will too. It is the old man's house from Up and all the balloons are made out of different colored Peeps. I love Peeps. And I love Up. Perfect combination. :)

Happy Friday everyone! (Yes, this is what I do at 10:00 on a Friday night . . . but, hey, give me some slack, I have to be up at a Teaching Fellows fundraiser at 8:15 tomorrow morning and I start training for my new hostess job tomorrow morning as well!)

OH! And remember 2 things . . .

1. To have standards . . .

2. Do you really want to be the blame for the Nazgul finding Frodo?

I didn't think so. Don't talk to strangers . . . especially if you think they could have possibly been mortal men and then were consumed by the power of one of 9 rings and are now the most powerful servants to Lord Sauron. Just saying.

Update: Here is one of the haikus and photos I always post on Steph's wall. She appreciates them.

Buffy and blogging.
Alllll the fellas want this . . . heh.
This . . . is my Friday.
